Our pomade is suitable for daily use and is perfect for creating side parts and slick styles that last, with no harsh hair-harming chemicals.

The wax and oil-free water-based formula can be used on damp or dry hair and is easy to wash out when the day is done.

Pomade has been dated back as far as the 18th century. Firstly it was used as an ointment, later became a hair product. The Name is derived from the French word pomade, which means “ointment.” Pomade comes from the Latin pomum for fruit or apple and the Italian pomata also apple.

By the early 20th century, petroleum jelly, beeswax, and lard were more commonly used. But today the formulas have evolved and ours is one of the best.

Unlike forming cream, pomade does not dry, keeps the hairstyle flexible and can last much longer. Pomade is used to style hair, giving it a darker, slicker, shinier look, and is often associated with the slick men’s styles of the early to mid-20th century.
